The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced that the second edition of WAVES Doc Bazaar is set to take place from June 16 to 18. The event is designed to aid documentary, animation, and short filmmakers by facilitating collaboration and market access.

This year's Doc Bazaar will coincide with the 19th Mumbai International Film Festival at the NFDC Complex in Mumbai. It aims to gather seasoned professionals and emerging talents from the audiovisual sector, creating a networking hub for creators, producers, distributors, and technology partners.

A highlight of the Bazaar is the Viewing Room (VR), where completed or nearly finished films will be screened for registered delegates. It's a prime opportunity for filmmakers to secure distribution deals and explore co-production partnerships. Entries for the VR close on May 15, inviting a wide range of documentaries and animations.
