Janjati Sanskritik Samagam: Celebrating Tribal Heritage at Red Fort

On May 24, around 1.5 lakh people from over 550 tribal communities will gather at the Red Fort for the Janjati Sanskritik Samagam, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of tribal icon Birsa Munda. Organized by the Janjati Suraksha Manch, the event will feature cultural processions, performances, and aims to promote tribal identity and unity.

In a grand celebration of tribal heritage, approximately 1.5 lakh individuals from over 550 tribal communities are expected to converge at Red Fort on May 24 for the Janjati Sanskritik Samagam.

This event honors the 150th birth anniversary of renowned tribal leader Birsa Munda, whose legacy continues to inspire fights to preserve tribal culture and identity.

Organized by the Janjati Suraksha Manch, the gathering will include diverse cultural processions and performances, reflecting the unity and vibrant diversity of India's tribal societies, and aims to foster pride and social harmony.
