Panaji, May 18, 2026 – South Goa’s tourism landscape is gearing up for significant improvements. Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte recently conducted inspections at key beaches, including Cavelossim and Benaulim, to evaluate potential infrastructure and beautification projects aimed at enhancing the region’s appeal to tourists.

Accompanied by Director of Tourism Kedar Naik and other officials, Khaunte examined pathways, beautification sites, and considered areas for public washroom facilities. The initiative is part of Goa's strategic plan to bolster tourism amenities and elevate the visitor experience. Local stakeholders, including fishermen and shack owners, engaged with the Minister discussing crucial issues that affect their livelihoods.
