Drone Strikes Disrupt Major Russian Retailer Ozon

In the Orenburg region of Russia, drone debris hit two industrial facilities, including one owned by the online retailer Ozon. Over 300 people were evacuated, halting operations at its logistics center. The incidents are linked to broader drone attacks on Russian economic infrastructure amid the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The governor of Russia's Orenburg region reported that two industrial sites, one belonging to Ozon, were struck by drone debris. The Russian defence ministry successfully repelled six drones, with no injuries reported.

Ozon, Russia's second-largest online retailer, evacuated over 300 employees and suspended operations at its Orenburg logistics center. This attack follows a previous strike on Ozon's Samara region facility, marking an escalation in drone assaults by Ukraine against Russian commercial assets.

The Russian defence ministry claimed to have downed 328 Ukrainian drones overnight, indicating ongoing tensions in the region.
