Want to feature in adult movies? Deepfake technology lets you in
The realistic result of deepfake is achieved through machine learning and other Artificial Intelligence features.
A pornographic company on Monday launched a form of monetizing deepfake, videos using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to exchange faces of people. Producer Naughty America has premiered a service where customers can make a fantasy with the help of technology, putting their faces on porn actors, and vice versa and being adult entertainment stars in their own films.
In demo videos, the company has released the original clip with the porn actresses Zoey Monroe and Blair Williams and an edited one, in which their faces are changed. The realistic result of deepfake is achieved through machine learning and other Artificial Intelligence features. With them, algorithms can learn the expressions of a certain person, the way in which they move, and so on. This knowledge is recreated on another face, generating a fake movie that is almost impossible to differentiate from an original content.
This technology was not invented now. It became known in late 2017 when a Reddit user started posting fake sex videos with celebrities. In addition to pornographic productions, the technique is used to fake speeches from famous politicians and spread fake news.
In the case of Naughty America, the company offers a roadmap for customers to film themselves with certain expressions to ensure realistic videos. They also use a law firm to ensure that the characters in the recordings are adults who have given consent to the release.
I do not think you can exist in this industry if you are not prepared to use this technology, said Naughty America CEO Andreas Hronopoulos in an interview with Variety.
