Man arrested for sharing a sensitive post on social networking site Facebook

A man was arrested for allegedly sharing a sensitive post on social networking site Facebook which police said had the potential to disturb peaceful atmosphere of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, an official said today.

According to a preliminary inquiry, the man shared a video of a sacrilegious act that had taken place in some area of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Facebook thereby hurting the sentiments of a particular community, said Yugal Manhas, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Rajouri.

A case under relevant sections of the IPC was registered against the man, he added.
