NBA notebook: Spurs sign Pondexter

The San Antonio Spurs announced Wednesday that they have agreed to a one-year deal with free agent swingman Quincy Pondexter.

The deal is worth just over $2 million, according to Spotrac. The agreement between Pondexter and the Spurs was initially reported by ESPN on Monday.

Pondexter, 30, is trying to revive his career after a knee injury. He was the 26th overall pick of the 2010 draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder, who dealt him to the then-New Orleans Hornets.
