Kannada actor Ambareesh Passes away at 66

Kannada actor Ambareesh has passed at the age of 66 on Saturday. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Bengaluru after suffering from a heart attack.

He is survived by his wife Sumalatha and son Abhishek.

Ambareesh started his career in the film industry with the blockbuster movie Naagarahaavu, in the year 1972. He played the role of Vishnuvardhan, a character with negative shades in the film.

Ambaressh was an active politician as well. He joined the Congress party back in the year 1994. He was elected three times as the Member Of Parliament of Mandya Constituency.
