Iraq invites Russia's Gazprom to develop Nassiriya oilfield in the south

The Iraqi cabinet on Wednesday agreed to invite Russia's Gazprom Neft to develop the southern Nassiriya oilfield, according to a government statement.

Nassiriya field in southern Iraq is currently producing around 60,000 barrels per day, oilfield officials said.
