Union Minister Jitendra Singh to Host 54th Pre-Retirement Counselling Workshop in Jammu

The Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare will hold the 54th Pre-Retirement Counselling workshop on July 19 in Jammu, led by Union Minister Jitendra Singh. The event aims to aid retiring government employees with essential information on retirement benefits, pension, and various investment options.

The Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare is set to organize the 54th Pre-Retirement Counselling (PRC) workshop at the State Convention Centre in Jammu on July 19. Union Minister Jitendra Singh will preside over the event, according to a press release from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.

This initiative, aimed at retiring government employees, marks significant progress in easing the transition to post-retirement life. Upcoming retirees will receive crucial information on retirement benefits, the pension sanction process, and other relevant matters.

Various sessions will cover the BHAVISHYA Portal, Integrated Pensioners Portal, Family Pension, CGHS, Income Tax Rules, ANUBHAV, Digital Life Certificate, and investment opportunities. Approximately 250 employees nearing retirement in the next nine months are expected to benefit. The Department remains committed to updating retirees on government initiatives to ensure they can fully benefit post-retirement.
