The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday announced the state-wise and city-wise data of the NEET-UG 2024 results on its official website. The Supreme Court mandated the NTA to release the results by July 20.

Candidates can check their results on the official website, https://neet.ntaonline.in/frontend/web/common-scorecard/index, by entering their login credentials. Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra ruled that the results should be published in a transparent manner, segregated by city and test center, by 12 noon on Saturday.

The Supreme Court's directive came after students petitioned for transparency in the result publication. The Court stated, 'The petitioners have submitted that it would be appropriate if the results of the NEET-UG 24 exam are published on the website to ensure transparency in center-wise marks obtained by candidates. We direct the NTA to publish the marks obtained while masking student identities.'

The court will continue to hear pleas regarding alleged paper leaks and malpractices in the NEET-UG 2024 exams on July 22. The NEET-UG 2024, held on May 5 across 4,750 centres, saw about 24 lakh candidates. The NTA has faced severe criticism, leading to protests and legal actions.
