The Ministry of Education will mark the fourth anniversary of the National Education Policy 2020 with the Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam 2024 at New Delhi's Manekshaw Centre Auditorium on Monday. Union Minister for Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, will preside over the event, sharing his experiences in driving the policy's implementation.

Joining him will be Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Jayant Chaudhary, and Minister of State for Education & Development of North Eastern Region, Dr. Sukanta Majumdar. The event will see participation from notable academicians, university Vice Chancellors, officials, and students.

Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate key Department of Education initiatives, including TV channels for learning Indian languages, Primers for early graders, stress-free '10 Bagless Days,' and Career Guidance Guidelines. Other launches will include NMM & NPST in Braille and audio, a school innovation marathon, and resources promoting Indian Knowledge Systems.

Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam aims to reinvigorate the commitment to NEP 2020, encouraging collaborative efforts for achieving shared educational goals. The event will feature six panel discussions on various Ministry initiatives, attended by eminent academicians and stakeholders.

The first ABSS, held in July 2022 in Varanasi, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It sought to enhance stakeholder collaboration, establish robust links among higher education institutions, and address challenges faced by these institutions.
