Anand Kumar, the founder of the acclaimed Super 30 educational program, on Thursday made a public plea to both central and state governments to establish a 'special cell' dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by students at coaching institutes.
In an exclusive interview with ANI, Kumar emphasized the growing concerns over student safety and the exploitation of successful students' names by coaching centers to attract new aspirants. 'It is an old business of coaching centers to publish the photos of successful students on their names,' he stated, pointing out the deceptive practices where prominent teachers are used as bait, even when they don't teach at these institutes.
Kumar also criticized teachers who shirk responsibilities once fees are paid, stressing the need for choosing the right instructors. He advised students to rely on self-study and carefully evaluate the effectiveness and integrity of teachers, even suggesting that competent educators can be found in smaller towns.
