Telecom service providers including BSNL, Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Vi are working tirelessly to restore and augment connectivity in Wayanad, Kerala, hit by severe landslides. Key players BSNL, Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Vi have augmented infrastructure to ensure continuous coverage, crucial for rescue teams, government officials, and the public.

Numerous control rooms, relief distribution centers, and emergency response teams have activated to support Wayanad residents. BSNL has introduced 4G services in Chooralmala and Mundakkai and provided diesel engines to keep towers operational during power outages. Rapid internet for district administration and toll-free numbers for the Health Department are also in place.

A dedicated tower by Reliance Jio, deployed on state disaster management authorities' request, bolsters connectivity. Airtel offers free data and extended bill payment dates for prepaid and postpaid customers, respectively. Its stores in Kerala serve as relief collection points. Vi follows suit with free data and extended payment deadlines, ensuring uninterrupted service in the disaster's wake.
