Congress Slams BJP for Destabilization Attempts in Karnataka

K.C. Venugopal of the AICC accused the BJP of conspiring to destabilize Karnataka's Congress-led government. He asserted the coalition's commitment to counteracting these efforts by highlighting government achievements and the opposition's schemes. The focus remains on promoting guarantee schemes for the poor and safeguarding the administration's integrity.

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary, K.C. Venugopal, has alleged that the previous Congress-JDS coalition government in Karnataka was undermined by conspiracies from the BJP's central leadership. Speaking after a key meeting with state Congress leaders, Venugopal emphasized that similar tactics are being deployed once again to destabilize the current administration.

During the meeting, Venugopal reassured that the Congress party would fight these alleged plots by engaging with the public and exposing the BJP and JD(S)'s intentions to sabotage the government. He vowed to educate the masses about the benefits of the guarantee schemes introduced by the Congress government, aiming to counteract any misinformation.

Venugopal also directed ministers and legislators to actively communicate the government's achievements in their constituencies. He pointed to the Prajwal Revanna case as evidence of the opposition's attempts to cause unrest. Praising Siddaramaiah's integrity and public service, Venugopal criticized the governor's actions as influenced by the BJP, suggesting these efforts are meant to discredit the Congress-led administration.
