The event commenced with a ceremonial start in the terminal's outer area, marked by lamp lighting and opening remarks by the DIG of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for the Guwahati North-East region, along with a formal oath-taking session. To mark the occasion, a thrilling 5-kilometre mini-marathon will navigate key landmarks like VIP Road and SOS Road, concluding at the airport.
