Historic Tarang Shakti 2024 Kicks Off in Tamil Nadu

The Indian Air Force has commenced its landmark multinational exercise, 'Tarang Shakti 2024', in Sulur, Tamil Nadu. This is the first time such an exercise is being held on Indian soil, with participation from air forces of Germany, France, Spain, and the UK. The event aims to enhance strategic ties.

The Indian Air Force launched its inaugural multinational exercise, 'Tarang Shakti 2024', in Sulur, Tamil Nadu, marking a historic event on Tuesday.

Participants include contingents from Germany, France, and Spain, with the UK's Royal Air Force also joining the maneuvers. The first phase will run until August 14, followed by the second phase in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from August 29 to September 14.

Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari and German Air Force Chief Lieutenant General Ingo Gerhartz inaugurated the event, highlighting the significance of such multilateral exercises. 'Tarang Shakti' seeks to elevate strategic relationships internationally and stands as a testament to India’s growing global military ties.
