In a tragic incident on Thursday, two sisters, Radha (8) and Suman (14), drowned while bathing in a pond in Achhanpurva village, according to local police.
The incident occurred when three girls, including Kareena (12), went for a bath and began to drown. Villagers nearby managed to rescue Kareena, but unfortunately, Radha and Suman could not be saved.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent for postmortem, and Kareena has been admitted to a hospital for medical care.
