Tragic Accident: Five Killed as Car Plunges Into Sone Canal in Aurangabad
A speeding car fell into the Sone canal in Dawood Nagar, Aurangabad, killing five people, including a child. Local police recovered the bodies and are contacting the victims' families.

Five individuals, including a child, were tragically killed when their car plunged into the roadside Sone canal in Aurangabad's Dawood Nagar area on Tuesday. The accident occurred near Chaman Bigha village on the Barun-Dawood Nagar canal road. Dawood Nagar Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rishi Raj confirmed the incident, noting that the driver lost control of the speeding vehicle.
Local villagers alerted the authorities, who rushed to the scene to discover all occupants of the car had perished. The bodies were subsequently recovered by the police, who are working to contact the victims' families.
Block Development Officer Mohd Zafar Imam, Circle Officer Shailendra Kumar Yadav, and Station House Officer Fahim Azad Khan led a team to the site. According to SHO Khan, four of the deceased were residents of Rajiv Nagar in Patna, while the driver hailed from Ara. Efforts are ongoing to notify the families of the deceased.
