AP CM Naidu Calls for Public Support Amid Severe Floods

Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu urges public cooperation to manage flood crisis, ensuring food and water for all affected. With 30 NDRF teams and six helicopters from the Centre, efforts are underway to provide relief in affected areas, including Krishna and Guntur districts.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has called for collective public effort to tackle the severe flood situation inundating parts of the state. Naidu emphasized the necessity of individual actions and community support to bring the situation under control during a press briefing on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister assured that ample food and transportation have been arranged for those affected by the floods. "Our first priority is to reach every individual with provisions, followed by ensuring access to drinking water and improving sanitation. Systematic efforts are underway to raise awareness and educate the public," Naidu stated.

Highlighting the Centre's support, Naidu mentioned the deployment of nearly 30 NDRF teams, six helicopters, and 120 motorized boats aiding in the relief operations. Traffic disruptions on highways and cancellations of train services due to heavy rains continue, particularly affecting Krishna and Guntur districts.
