NCRTC Launches Versatile Namo Bharat NCMC Cards for Seamless Travel

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has taken a significant step towards enhancing commuter convenience by launching the Namo Bharat NCMC-enabled cards in collaboration with Airtel Payments Bank. These co-branded cards promise to provide seamless connectivity across various public transportation systems in the region.
Launched on Friday, the Namo Bharat National Common Mobility Cards (NCMC) are designed to offer a versatile payment solution for commuters, encompassing travel fares as well as daily transactions like shopping and dining. Available for purchase at RRTS stations and via the Airtel Thanks app, these prepaid and debit cards aim to simplify travel and payment needs in one convenient package.
NCRTC Managing Director Shalabh Goel expressed optimism about the initiative, emphasizing its role in transforming daily commutes. Meanwhile, Ganesh Ananthanarayanan from Airtel Payments Bank highlighted the secure, contactless payment features of the cards. As part of the 'One Nation, One Card' initiative, these NCMC cards facilitate a future-ready transport system, enhancing speed and safety for users across India's first RRTS corridor and beyond.
