An early morning explosion occurred outside the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) school in Rohini, Delhi, prompting extensive investigations by authorities. Initial reports suggest the device resembled a crude bomb, but the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team is yet to provide a final analysis regarding the material used.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, though the blast damaged nearby shop windows and a car. Responding to the incident, the area has been cordoned off, and fire department teams are present at the scene. The Special Cell of the Delhi Police's anti-terror unit has also joined the investigation.
Police received a PCR call at approximately 7:45 am about the loud explosion. Upon arrival, the station house officer (SHO) found the CRPF school wall damaged and a foul smell lingering in the air. Authorities, including crime and bomb disposal teams, are conducting thorough examinations, reviewing CCTV footage, and checking nearby sewer lines. The National Security Guard (NSG) has been alerted and may soon arrive at the scene.
