The Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj is witnessing record-breaking participation, with more than 482.9 million devotees taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam as of February 12, according to the Uttar Pradesh government. The event has drawn a substantial number of Kalpavasis and pilgrims, emphasizing its spiritual significance.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai led a 166-member delegation, comprising the Council of Ministers, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Governor, MPs, and MLAs, to attend the event. Before departing, CM Sai expressed gratitude to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the invitation, highlighting the inter-state camaraderie at the gathering.

Adding a touch of glamour to the holy proceedings, Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal joined the festivities, expressing his anticipation and gratitude for attending. As the snan of Magh Purnima concluded successfully, Urban Development Secretary Anuj Jha heralded it as a significant accomplishment, underscoring the efficient management of the world's largest spiritual and cultural gathering, set to continue until February 26, 2025.
