Trained RPF personnel set up Lost and Found centres at major stations in the Prayagraj region, ensuring the safety and reunion of lost individuals with their families.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) achieved a heartwarming feat at the Maha Kumbh Mela by reuniting 289 individuals, who got separated from their families, officials announced on Thursday.

RPF personnel, after undergoing extensive training, established Lost and Found assistance centres at vital railway stations to assist pilgrims. The support covered key locations such as Prayagraj Junction, Subedarganj, Naini, and Prayagraj Chheoki.

'Amid heavy crowds, the dedication of RPF personnel resulted in the reunion of many, including children, women, and the elderly. With multilingual help centres in place, families were joyously reunited,' stated Shiv Kumar, RPF Inspector-in-Charge at Prayagraj Junction.
