In a significant crackdown on cross-border narcotics trafficking, Punjab Police announced on Friday that they had seized 5.067 kilograms of heroin and apprehended four suspects in Amritsar.
The Punjab Director General of Police confirmed the developments on X, highlighting the Amritsar Commissionerate Police's role in the operation, which resulted in the registration of two First Information Reports (FIRs) under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Police Station Cantonment and Police Station Sadar, Amritsar.
