Delhi's newly sworn-in Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is off to a robust start. Just two days after taking her oath, she made a significant move by meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence, following their initial encounter during the oath-taking ceremony at Ramlila Maidan.

Gupta's proactive approach continued as she convened a meeting with Public Works Department officials to address the capital's infrastructure woes, particularly focusing on damaged roads and traffic congestion. The BJP's social media platform highlighted her directives aimed at enhancing Delhi's road networks.

Concurrently, Delhi's PWD Minister Parvesh Verma inspected projects along Bhairon Marg to Sarai Kale Khan, emphasizing road durability beyond the standard time frame. Meanwhile, former CM Atishi urged Gupta to pass a financial scheme for women, criticizing the delay since the administration's first cabinet meeting.
