Godrej Enterprises Group has unveiled ambitious plans to double the turnover of its Process Equipment division, capitalizing on the global shift towards green energy. By expanding its Dahej Plant with a Rs 200 crore investment, the company is positioning itself to meet growing demands.
The expansion will see the manufacturing capacity rise to 30,000 MT from 23,000 MT, with the focus on exports remaining strong, accounting for over 70% of its current Rs 1,000 crore turnover. Executive Vice President Hussain Shariyarr highlighted the significance of the clean energy transition in driving this growth.
Despite scaling down operations at its Vikhroli plant due to logistical hurdles, the division expects substantial business from green hydrogen production and nuclear power sectors.
