Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reinforced the state's dedication to promoting green energy initiatives within industries during the 2025 Annual Meet organized by CII Gujarat. Addressing the audience, he elaborated on the state government's aim to boost sustainable energy sources in industries, building on its previous success in the agricultural sector.
Patel drew attention to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and transformative vision, asserting that India is now focused on ambitious development goals. With a significant portion of agreements from the last Vibrant Gujarat Summit dedicated to the green energy sector, Patel highlighted Gujarat's unwavering commitment to sustainable development.
Further, he discussed plans to transform one of Gujarat's industrial estates, GIDC, into a green energy-powered model hub. The Chief Minister emphasized that this is a prime moment for India to assume a leading role in global development. The meeting placed substantial emphasis on industrial progress, with initiatives discussed to support MSMEs and enhance Gujarat's competitive edge in global markets.
