Essar Energy Transition's EET Fuels has taken a significant step by expanding its jet fuel supply to two more major UK airports. This move brings its total network coverage to nine airports, enhancing energy security and supporting the growth of the aviation sector.

The company's expansion aligns with the Essar group's commitment to a USD 3.6 billion investment in low carbon projects in the UK and India. The agreements are part of EET Fuels' strategy to integrate across the value chain, placing refined jet molecules from the Stanlow refinery directly into demand centers.

Deepak Maheshwari, CEO at EET Fuels, highlighted that extending their supply footprint not only strengthens fuel reliability for airline partners but also cements their leadership in the UK's transition to a low-carbon economy. This expansion also supports broader goals, including transformation plans at the Stanlow site for industrial carbon capture and low-carbon hydrogen production.
