Crime Wave in Delhi: Man Shot Dead and Woman's Body Found

In a tragic event that rocked the Alipur area of Delhi, a man identified as Karan Thapa was shot dead on Friday evening. The incident, taking place in Nehru Enclave's Thapa Gali, left the victim with multiple bullet wounds, officials confirmed, sparking increased police activity in the locality.

Karan Thapa, known to law enforcement due to his criminal background involving attempted murder and extortion cases, was pronounced dead at Harishchandra Hospital after being rushed there post-shooting. The Delhi Police indicated a family dispute might have escalated into this fatal confrontation, pointing to tensions with Thapa's in-laws as a possible motive.

On the same fateful day, in Shahdara's Vivek Vihar, another grim discovery was made when a woman's decomposing body was found in a home. This discovery came after neighbors reported a foul smell emanating from the residence. The investigation continues as police endeavor to identify the deceased and apprehend any suspects in both cases.
