In a striking testament to Kerala's progress, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan unveiled the 'Permute 2025' skill summit hosted by the Group of Technology Companies (Gtech) on Saturday. The Chief Minister declared the summit a strategic investment in enhancing Kerala's technological prowess.

During his address, CM Vijayan also praised the inclusion of the 'Drug-Free Kerala' initiative in the program, asserting the potential for Kerala to become a hub of talent. The foundation of this development, he noted, was laid in 2016 with the state's pioneering startup policy, which catalyzed the creation of 6,200 startups over nine years, fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Vijayan highlighted the state's momentum in the IT sector, noting a doubling of workforce in IT parks and a 254% growth in startups, vastly outpacing the global growth rate of 46%. He challenged misconceptions about Kerala's business environment, emphasizing significant industrial advancements and showcasing the inherent capabilities of the state's youth.
