Amid mounting tensions between India and Pakistan, the Telangana Government has inaugurated a round-the-clock Control Room at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi. This initiative aims to offer assistance, information, and support to the residents of Telangana living in border regions, according to an official release.
Key contact details for the Control Room include a landline number and several mobile numbers for officials such as the Private Secretary, Liaison Head, and Public Relations Officers. All contacts are operational 24/7 to ensure continuous support.
The increase in tensions comes after India launched 'Operation Sindoor' targeting terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. This operation was a response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of 26 civilians. Authorities reported successful strikes on nine terror camps, emphasizing precision to avoid civilian harm.
