Crompton Greaves Lands Record Solar Pump Order

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. secured its largest-ever solar water pump order from Maharashtra Energy Development Agency, emphasizing its commitment to sustainable irrigation. The project includes 4,500 solar photovoltaic water pumping systems and a five-year maintenance contract, supporting farmers' transition to renewable energy for consistent irrigation.

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., a leader in India's pumps industry, has achieved a milestone in its pursuit of green energy. The company has received its largest-ever order in the solar water pump segment.

The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency has awarded Crompton a contract for over Rs. 101 crore. This includes the design, manufacture, and installation of 4,500 Off-grid Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems across Maharashtra, as part of the PM-KUSUM scheme.
