Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., a leader in India's pumps industry, has achieved a milestone in its pursuit of green energy. The company has received its largest-ever order in the solar water pump segment.
The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency has awarded Crompton a contract for over Rs. 101 crore. This includes the design, manufacture, and installation of 4,500 Off-grid Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems across Maharashtra, as part of the PM-KUSUM scheme.
This project aligns with national objectives to support farmers' shift to renewable solar energy, promising economic and environmental benefits. Crompton continues to consolidate its position with quality service and innovation in solar-powered irrigation solutions.
