The French government has issued a strong condemnation against what it perceives as 'threats' directed towards the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi. France has urged Iran to ensure the safety of all IAEA personnel operating within its borders.
Tensions have escalated following comments from Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, who suggested that Tehran might refuse any requests from the UN's nuclear watchdog for site inspections, indicating a possible standoff in nuclear oversight efforts.
IAEA Chief Rafael Grossi has raised concerns, noting that Iran could commence producing enriched uranium in a matter of months, questioning the success of past U.S. military actions aimed at dismantling Iran's nuclear capabilities.
