Powergrid Bolsters Government Coffers with Final Dividend
State-owned Powergrid has disbursed a final dividend of Rs 574.35 crore to the Indian government for the fiscal year 2024-25. The total amount, including interim dividends, reaches Rs 4,297.40 crore. This dividend was handed over to the Union Minister of Power by Powergrid’s Chairman.

On Tuesday, state-owned Powergrid announced a significant milestone in its financial journey by paying a final dividend of Rs 574.35 crore to the Indian government for the fiscal year 2024-25.
Including earlier interim dividends, the total disbursement to the government now amounts to an impressive Rs 4,297.40 crore, underscoring Powergrid's robust financial performance this year.
The dividend cheque was ceremoniously presented to Union Minister of Power, Manohar Lal, by Power Grid's Chairman and Managing Director, R K Tyagi, marking a notable event in the organization's fiscal calendar.
