In a vibrant celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17, a special cultural event was organized at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar. The event, reflecting the Prime Minister's vision of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat', showcased regional and classical Indian vocal and performance arts by the tribal children of Arunachal Pradesh.

Initiated by Arunachal Pradesh's Governor, Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.), the cultural showcase provided a platform for local talent to shine. Children performed diverse Indian cultural traditions, including Kathak from Uttar Pradesh, Garba from Gujarat, Bharatanatyam from Tamil Nadu, and Lavani from Maharashtra, blending the country's rich artistic heritage.

The event's highlight included soulful Carnatic vocal recitals by the celebrated Wakro Sisters, Ashapmai Dellang and Behelti Ama, and a Hindustani classical performance by Jikeshen Pul. Governor Parnaik praised the youth's talent, honoring students and cultural teams with awards for their contributions to preserving cultural heritage. State leaders, including Chief Minister Pema Khandu, applauded the participants' creativity and talent.
