Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament, Sambit Patra, launched a scathing attack on Congress following remarks by Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Patra accused Congress of speaking the language of Pakistan and opposing organizations that support Hindu interests.
Highlighting the history of the Congress party, Patra pointed out how the National Advisory Committee, previously led by Sonia Gandhi, acted as an extra-constitutional body. He accused Congress of labeling Hindus as Saffron Terrorists and asserted that Congress harbors animosity towards Hinduism and Sanatan Dharma.
Patra challenged the Congress to display similar opposition to the Popular Front of India (PFI) and suggested that Congress's alliances contradict their stated positions. Meanwhile, Priyank Kharge urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to ban RSS activities in state-run institutions, citing concerns over their indoctrination and anti-constitutional philosophies.
