AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi has taken a strong stance against the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accusing the party of failing to bring development to any ward in Jubilee Hills during its tenure. He emphasized the importance of voting based on developmental criteria.

During an interaction with reporters, Owaisi refrained from revealing any allegiance to Congress leader Revanth Reddy while making it clear that the by-election would not alter the state government. He pointed out that Jubilee Hills residents had granted ten years to a previous MLA from BRS without witnessing progress.

Owaisi announced AIMIM's decision not to field a candidate in the by-election, throwing support behind Congress candidate Naveen Yadav, a move aimed at facilitating developmental changes. In a separate commentary, Owaisi highlighted the misuse of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act, calling it a significant contributor to human rights violations.
