APM Terminals to invest $550 mln in Peru's Callao port

APM Terminals will invest $550 million to expand Peru's Callao port starting in January, chief commercial officer for the company's Peru unit, Fernando Fauche, said on Wednesday.
The project will last two years and when finished will boost the port's capacity to 24,000 containers, Fauche told journalists at an event marking the port's inauguration of direct arrivals from Asia to the port on Peru's central coast.
