Operations have resumed at Iraq's Khor Mor gas field, with gas being transmitted to power stations early Sunday morning, the Kurdish regional government's electricity ministry announced.

Operations at the gas field had been halted after a rocket struck a storage tank last Thursday, causing a production shutdown and extensive power outages.

Joint field operator Dana Gas confirmed the incident, which led to significant disruptions, but operations have now been restored to enhance power supply in the region.
