The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India has raised concerns over the sluggish pace of Coal India Ltd's solar power projects.
Tasked in 2017 to develop 3,000 MW by 2024, the state-run company has managed just 122.492 MW, a mere 4.08 percent of the target.
CAG urges fast-tracking execution to ensure Coal India becomes a Net Zero energy company by the newly extended timeline of 2027-28.
