In a significant stride for India's green energy ambitions, a USD 10-billion project dedicated to green hydrogen and ammonia is progressing in Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada. Spearheaded by AM Green, this initiative marks a pivotal moment in India's clean-energy journey, showcasing its commitment to renewable sources.
The project's magnitude is underscored by the upcoming equipment erection ceremony, attended by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Scheduled for January 17, this milestone highlights India's expanding role in the global green-energy market, particularly with export ties to Germany, Japan, and Singapore.
With the creation of 8,000 jobs and its alignment with Andhra Pradesh's Integrated Clean Energy Policy, the project aims to position the state as a hub for green hydrogen and ammonia. As the world's largest green ammonia complex, it anticipates full-scale operations by 2030, driving India's leadership in clean-energy exports.
