Tata Capital, the financial arm of the prominent Tata Group, has shown impressive results in the latest quarter, reporting a substantial 39% increase in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 1,285 crore for the quarter ending December 2025. This compares favorably to its previous year's PAT of Rs 922 crore.
The company's net total income surged by 33% to Rs 3,594 crore during this period, as per the regulatory filing. There was also a notable 26% improvement in net interest income, which reached Rs 2,936 crore, up from Rs 2,323 crore in the same quarter of the preceding year.
Under the leadership of Rajiv Sabharwal, MD and CEO, assets under management saw a significant 26% hike, amounting to Rs 2,34,114 crore. The firm's focus on digital and GenAI capabilities has bolstered operational efficiencies, despite challenges in unsecured retail disbursements. Following its acquisition of Tata Motors Finance and listing in October 2025, the company's credit quality remains robust with low slippage rates.
