Wall Street experienced a decline on Thursday morning, as investor sentiment was shaken by concerns over Alphabet's proposed spending and Qualcomm's disappointing forecast.
As of 09:30 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average had fallen 324.80 points, marking a 0.66% drop, settling at 49,176.50, while the S&P 500 decreased by 63.21 points, or 0.92%, reaching 6,819.51.
The Nasdaq Composite also suffered a significant loss, dropping 314.28 points, or 1.36%, to close at 22,590.30, reflecting widespread trepidation in the technology sector.
