Empowering strides: Delhi Celebrates Women's Leadership at Pinkathon & Shakti Walk

On International Women's Day, Delhi became a hub of empowerment activities with the 8th edition of Zydus Pinkathon and the Shakti Walk drawing massive participation. More than 10,000 women runners took part in the Pinkathon, with challenges spanning ultra-distance categories, starting at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Delhi Minister Ashish Sood flagged off the event, underscoring the importance of women prioritizing their health. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta participated in the Shakti Walk organized by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. Gupta praised the strides in women's empowerment under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
The Shakti Walk, held along Kartavya Path, aimed to reinforce government initiatives for women's empowerment and safety. Celebrating International Women's Day, these events highlighted female leadership and contributions across sectors, echoing the global commitment to gender equality and progress.
