NTPC Green Energy has marked a milestone as its subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy, commenced electricity supply from a 270-MW unit within its expansive 1,200-MW solar PV initiative in Gujarat.
This strategic addition raises the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group's total capacity to a significant 9,562.68 MW, according to a regulatory filing.
Official records state that the 270 MW, part of the Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat, began commercial operations on March 11, 2026, enhancing green energy output.
