The central government inaugurated 'Karmayogi Sadhana Saptah', a national initiative under Mission Karmayogi, on Thursday. This week-long event from April 2 to 8, 2026, commenced at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi, celebrating five years of the mission aimed at revolutionizing capacity building in civil services.

Mission Karmayogi focuses on strengthening public servants' skills, aligning with modern governance needs through the pillars of Technology, Tradition, and Tangible Outcomes. This initiative integrates resources from various ministries and states, fostering a platform for workshops, masterclasses, and deliberations to ensure a future-ready governance ecosystem.

During the event, the Prime Minister emphasized aligning governance with evolving global needs, advocating for a citizen-centric approach through continuous learning and technological applications. The event underscored the importance of this modernized training approach, with Mission Karmayogi seen as a pivotal player in India's journey towards a sustainable and effective governance model by 2047.
