Highlighting the aspirational 'Viksit Bharat', Murmu stressed that the administrative system must embody efficiency and inclusivity, taking lessons from Kautilya's governance principles. Emphasizing trust as a cornerstone, she linked taxation to state-citizen relations.
Murmu called on IRS trainees to implement the Act effectively, underscoring their roles in fostering public trust and combating unfair tax practices while promoting research in evidence-based policymaking.
