The government of Andhra Pradesh, under the directive of State Energy Minister G Ravi Kumar, has vowed to ensure continuous electricity supply throughout the forthcoming summer months. Kumar emphasized the imperative of maintaining this commitment during a teleconference with key utility executives on Saturday.
He instructed that no power cuts should occur anywhere in the state, even during peak demand periods or unexpected temperature spikes. This directive was reinforced in a press release following the meeting.
The minister acknowledged potential challenges, such as unseasonal weather and soaring summer temperatures, but stressed the importance of immediate response and restoration initiatives to counter such disruptions, aiming to provide reliable power supply for the entire state.
