GE Vernova Powers Forward: MEIL's Upper Sileru Hydropower Leap

GE Vernova has announced a major order from Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) for nine 150 megawatt pumped-storage units. These units will be installed at the upcoming 1.35-GW Upper Sileru hydropower plant in Andhra Pradesh.
Set for completion by 2030, the Upper Sileru project will rank among India's largest pumped-storage hydropower facilities. The project's scope includes an array of responsibilities from GE Vernova: design, engineering, manufacturing, and more.
